Wine tasting at the Gallo Wine Gallery

On Saturday, July 23, you’re invited to a tasting of our wines in a fantastic location in the heart of the Langhe.
The tastings will begin at 11:00 am and the proposed wines will be:
Langhe Nascetta Albori 2015
Nascetta is a native grape to Piedmont, a semi-aromatic variety that is very indicative of our territory.
It is a variety of changes: every variable, from the vine to the vinification, can influence the final wine.
With our long experience in the sector, our love for a good challenge, and a particularly fortuitous vintage, we made a pleasant and easy-drinking wine with typical floral and fruity notes and an interesting minerality.
Barbera d’Alba Leonilde 2012
This Barbera is very special for us. Its grapes grow on vines that are over thirty years old.
The longevity of these vines can be seen in its persistence and great structure, as well in the balance of all the varietal components, from notes of red fruit to its acidity that harmoniously combines with complex notes from aging in wood.
Langhe Nebbiolo 2014
This wine exalts the most representative grape of the Langhe. Because this variety is so well-adapted to long aging, we keep it in Slavonian oak barrels for at least one year.
The result is a wine with violet notes and fruity raspberry aromas that evolve to complex notes. In the mouth, it is dry, velvety, and has good persistence.
Barolo 2012
This is one of our most traditional and representative wines. We harvest the best grapes and ferment them at a controlled temperature, and then we patiently wait…
The wine ages for three years in Slavonian oak. During this time, our Barolo develops complexity, aromas, and structure.
Do not hesitate to savor this wine slowly to discover all its nuances, and let your palate enjoy its velvety tannins.
