NY Experience Taralucci & Vino
on 12 April 2016
Our U.S. tour began in New York City, where we got the chance to meet up with our friends Lorenzo Baricca and Luca di Pietro, owners of Taralucci & Vino.
Taralucci & Vino is a locale formed by two Italian guys who wanted to recreate the concept of Italian conviviality, bringing all the necessary ingredients with them to NYC: good food and good wine!
Luca and Lorenzo are always traveling back and forth from NYC to Italy, bringing with them the best food and wine from small businesses and producers of the “boot” for their customers back in the U.S.
We were excited to start our tour here, especially considering our Langhe Nebbiolo was the Wine of the Week at Taralucci & Vino!
February 22-27, Langhe Nebbiolo of Alessandro Rivetto played a big part at the tasting where wine lovers had the chance to discover and taste it by the glass.
On February 23, there was an important wine dinner open to a select few guests who were enthusiastic to get to know our wines and learn more about our land.
We let numerous wines “speak”: Arneis, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barolo di Serralunga, Barbaresco, and last but not least, Mauro’s!
Who says a dinner with high society has to be formal? We passed a stylish but comfortable evening at Taralucci & Vino with good food, wine, and conversation.
