In Langhe we are experiencing a\u00a0real renaissance<\/strong>\u00a0of our native white grapes. Our favourite? Find it out in our post!<\/p>\n

If they were to make a movie about summer wine trends, it could easily be called\u00a0Summer: the revenge of the whites<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0wine cooler reigns<\/strong>supreme on tables in bars and restaurants, and at dinners among friends, but the question remains, what to put in it?<\/p>\n

As good Piedmontese, our choice would fall mainly on our native whites, and particularly on\u00a0Arneis<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Nascetta<\/strong>, two varieties that thanks to the farsightedness of producers are experiencing a particularly successful moment and giving extremely interesting wines.<\/p>\n

Arneis<\/h3>\n
\"\"<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n

Native to Roero, this vine, from which we produce our\u00a0Langhe Arneis DOC<\/strong>, has found \u201cfertile\u201d ground also in our beloved Langhe.<\/p>\n

In the glass, Langhe Arneis is\u00a0straw yellow<\/strong>\u00a0with greenish highlights.<\/p>\n

The intense yet\u00a0delicate aroma<\/strong>\u00a0is a combination of fruity scents of citrus, green apple and white peach and soft floral notes of chamomile and acacia, held together by a vibrant mineral note that reveals its strong ties with its land of origin.<\/p>\n

Fresh<\/strong>,\u00a0savoury<\/strong>\u00a0and persistent, our Langhe Arneis Matir\u00e8 has been a wine cooler black belt for years.<\/p>\n

Why Matir\u00e8<\/h4>\n

Matir\u00e8 is a combination of\u00a0Matilde and Irene<\/strong>, the names of Alessandro Rivetto\u2019s\u00a0twin daughters<\/strong>, to whom this wine, which reflects all their vivacity, is dedicated.<\/p>\n

Nascetta<\/h3>\n
\"\"<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n

Nascetta is a very particular\u00a0semi-aromatic native variety<\/strong>\u00a0intimately tied to its land of origin.<\/p>\n

It is a variety we could describe as \u201cchangeable<\/strong>\u201d, since every variable from the vineyard to vinification can have an effect on the end result.<\/p>\n

The structure and aromatic intensity of the wine obtained from it means that, together with Timorasso, it is one of the few Piedmont white wines noted for its\u00a0ageing potential<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 truly, a Barolo drinker\u2019s white wine!<\/p>\n

Our Langhe Nascetta Albori is a brilliant\u00a0straw yellow colour<\/strong>. Vinification in stainless steel enhances the bouquet of white flowers and iris, sage, thyme, citrus and ripe fruit notes, impressions that are confirmed in the mouth and supported by a solid structure made even more agreeable by a savoury, mineral undercurrent.<\/p>\n

Langhe Nascetta Albori is part of our new line in\u00a0Albeisa bottles<\/strong>\u00a0that includes the wines most representative of our area.<\/p>\n
